Speaker Power & Amplifier Calculator
This calculator finds the electrical power a loudspeaker needs at the listener for a target SPL with headroom. It works from the speaker sensitivity (SPL at 1 watt, 1 meter), the distance to the listener via the inverse-square law, the target level, and your headroom allowance. Enter those values to get the watts required and a recommended amplifier channel size, so the amp is not driven into clipping.

On the calculator the math stands alone. Inside Avria it runs across a whole room, cites the clause behind every call, and lands in a build-ready BOM.
