This calculator checks whether a network switch can power every connected device within its PoE budget. It totals the per-device draw, adds a 15 percent planning buffer, and compares against the switch's power budget. Enter the device count, average watts per device, and the switch budget to see whether it fits and how much headroom is left. If it exceeds the budget, split across switches or move to a higher-budget model.
