DISCAS Display Size Calculator
This calculator finds the minimum flat-panel diagonal a room needs so the farthest viewer can read the content comfortably. It applies AVIXA's DISCAS method (ANSI/AVIXA V202.01): the image height is the farthest-viewer distance divided by 4 for analytical content, 6 for basic decision-making, or 8 for passive viewing, then converted to a 16:9 diagonal. Enter the back-row distance and the viewing task to get the recommended diagonal and the nearest common panel size.
