DISCAS Display Size Calculator
This calculator finds the minimum display diagonal a room needs so the farthest viewer can use the content comfortably, using AVIXA's DISCAS method (ANSI/AVIXA V202.01). Choose Basic decision-making (BDM) and enter the smallest element height (%EH) when the viewer just reads text and slides, or Analytical decision-making (ADM) and enter the display resolution when the viewer must resolve fine detail like CAD drawings or dense data. Enter the farthest-viewer distance and you get the recommended diagonal, the minimum image height, and the nearest common panel size.
